On October 20, 2014, the Anne Arundel County Council passed Resolution 45-14 adopting the Complete Streets Policy produced by the Complete Streets Working Group launched earlier this year. BikeAAA vice president Alex Pline serves on the group following his previous leadership role as co-chair of the county Transportation Commission. BikeAAA supported this resolution as further described in BikeAAA-CompleteStreets-Res45-14 provided to the County Council. This is another important step forward in enabling the county’s roadways to accommodate bicycles and pedestrians. We applaud the leadership of Councilman Trumbauer who together with Council Chair Grasso introduced this Resolution.
